Antalya Nall-Cain, the daughter of Lord Brocket and his Vogue model ex-wife, has separated from her husband, Prince Frederick Alexander von Preussen, who is the son of Prince Andrew of Prussia and Alexandra Blahova, the grandson of Prince Frederick of Prussia and Lady Brigid Guinness, and the great-great-great-great grandson of Queen Victoria.

The couple had been married for five years, tying the knot in a low-key ceremony on 27 September 2020, with a ceremony at St John's church, followed by a reception at the bride's former family seat (now luxury hotel) Brocket Hall.

Despite those seemingly happy beginnings, a friend of the Hon. Antalya Nall-Cain has claimed that the bride was ‘profoundly unhappy’ in the marriage, telling Richard Eden that ‘Antalya desperately tried to make it work,’ but that the 37-year-old ‘decided to walk away because she was profoundly unhappy.’

She is not the first of her dynasty to call time on a marriage. Antalya’s father, Charles Nall-Cain, 3rd Baron Brocket, divorced her mother, Isabell Maria Lorenzo, in 1994 – 12 years after the pair said ‘I do. ’

The mid 90s were a turbulent time for the family, with Old Etonian (and owner of 42 Ferraris) Lord Brocket convicted of insurance fraud in 1996, serving two and a half years of a five year sentence in Spring Hill Open Prison. Professional photographer Antalya, who was aged just eight at the time, saw her Hertfordshire family seat leased to a corporation in Hong Kong and transformed into a luxury hotel while her father was incarcerated.

She was, however, able to host her wedding day at Brocket Hall, much to the delight of her father, who explained to Richard Eden after the big day that ‘Antalya grew up there, so there were lots of happy memories.’ The bride wore a stunning ivory gown with cape detail, accessorising with her family tiara, the Brocket Tiara. It had previously been worn on the wedding day of her grandmother and aunt.

Both Prince Alexander (as he is sometimes known) and Antalya have a glamorous list of ex-lovers. She: author (and bullfighter) Alexander Fiske-Harrison and Axel Loughrey. He: soul singer and Eastenders star Mica Paris, for whom Aelxander served not only as paramour but manager, too.

And while Antalya’s father may have divorced her mother, he found love and married again in 2006, tying the knot with Harriet Warren in the south of France. The adventurous Lord Brocket – who in 2004 flew to the Australian jungle to compete in I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here – reportedly dove into the swimming pool fully clothed, alongside his cousin, now the Marquess of Headfort. The couple remain together to this day.
