AN ANNUAL beer festival is set to return to Dorset this year, bringing together brewers, music, food and charity for a day of celebration.

The Hall & Woodhouse Dorset Beer Festival, held annually at the Hall & Woodhouse Brewery in Blandford St Mary, will once again open its doors to beer lovers from across the region.

First launched in 2013 to mark the opening of the brewery’s new site, the festival has since become a highlight in people’s calendar.

The event will give a spotlight on real ale and cider, featuring Hall & Woodhouse’s own Badger and Outland beers, alongside a selected range from other local brewers.

Along with beer, the festival has also raised money for local charities throughout years.

It has raised £55,000 for charities including Dorset Mind, the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, Macmillan Cancer Support, and most recently, The Huntington’s Disease Association.

Visitors can expect to enjoy an atmosphere with live music, tasty food, and the opportunity to support both local businesses and important causes.

The beer festival will take place from June 13 to June 14 starting at 11am to 10pm.

The tickets are £6 each and available online to buy.
