Tamy had one of the most inspirational stories during Season 6. The My 600-Lb Life star quickly followed Dr. Now’s weight loss regimens and lost 40 pounds in just a month. Even Dr. Now was impressed by her journey. But Tamy wasn’t done with her incredible progress. She worked even harder after getting the bariatric surgery, dropping 246 pounds in the process.
She parted ways with Dr. Now at 346 pounds. She’s had some emotional setbacks during her journey. One of them was when her boyfriend, James, admitted that he had cheated on her just before her procedure. But it didn’t stop Tamy from pursuing her goals. The two also made up and eventually got married.

My 600-Lb Life: Tamy Lyn Murrell Faced Health Issues
One of Tamy Lyn Murrell’s last updates was a lengthy message regarding her recent health issues. According to the My 600-Lb Life star, she suffered from blood-related issues after donating plasma. She assumed that the nurse didn’t wrap her arm correctly, and the blood was running down her arm. She felt dizzy after some blood loss. Due to this, she and her husband decided to stop by a convenience store to purchase an energy drink.
But her blood pressure never went back to normal for the whole day, leaving her very concerned. Tamy has yet to share what happened after the incident, but she took to social media last December to share a photo of the assorted pies she bought at a mall for a very cheap price, indicating that she has fully recovered.
