On South Street, guests can enjoy a variety of dishes whether they’re looking to nibble or looking for something a bit more substantial. The menu features plenty of sharable apps like pretzel bites, mozzarella sticks, and sidewinder fries, plus their new sweet and savory empanadas in a variety of flavors, including cheeseburger, buffalo chicken, and apple pie. There are also refreshing salad options like their watermelon salad with arugula, feta, mint, basil, watermelon, and balsamic. While enjoying one of their delicious dishes, guests can sip on signature frozen cocktails with the return of the famed Gritty Margarita featuring Lunazul Blanco tequila, Tang, lime, and black salt, alongside other sensational sips.

In addition to enjoying the revamped menus, visitors can partake in various hands-on craft workshops, including garden embroidery, flower pressing, orchid workshops, and moss terrarium making. Whether you’re new to the gardening world or a seasoned pro, these interactive sessions provide a fun and relaxing way to learn new gardening techniques and skills while creating a unique, take-home place inspired by nature.

The Pop-Up Gardens will also host monthly free Plant Swap events on the first Monday in Manayunk and the first Tuesday on South Street. Throughout the season, guests who visit South Street can acquire new plants for their homes thanks to Solo Real Estate, a Center City-based independent real estate company committed to sustainably investing in communities. Solo Real Estate will co-host the monthly Plant Swaps alongside PHS with giveaways of horticultural favorites such as summer bulbs, houseplants, succulents, and more. There will even be plant prizes throughout the season for guests who pre-register for the Plant Swaps, including complimentary pollinator mix seed packs, tote bags and recycling containers.
