A Northern Irish brewery has come away with the top prize at this year's Society of Independent Brewers and Associate Business Awards 2025.
Highlighting the UK’s very best brewing businesses, pubs and retailers of independent beer – the SIBA Business Awards are known as the 'Oscars of the beer industry'.
The awards seek to congratulate excellence in the brewing industry across a variety of categories, from pump clip, can and bottle design, to efforts taken to make their business more sustainable as well as naming the UK’s best pubs, bars and retailers of beer from independent breweries.

Belfast's Bullhouse Brewing Co. took home the evening’s top award – being named Brewery Business of the Year 2025, after also winning the Commercial Achievement and Best City Pub Awards, in what was "a historic evening" for the brewery.
William Mayne, founder of Bullhouse Brew Co. said: "We're thrilled to win the award it’s a huge recognition for the work that the team do, and also with the challenges in the Northern Ireland beer market for any Northern Irish brewery to be recognised on a UK wide platform is massive for us - To get that recognition and to be put on the map as a business."

Presenting the award, Sunday Times columnist and beer author Pete Brown said: “Judges were hugely impressed by Bullhouse’s ability to grow a thriving brewing business under incredibly tough trading conditions, and with the bright, modern, but welcoming atmosphere they have created at Bullhouse East.
"Bullhouse are a true community asset for Belfast and a worthy winner of SIBA’s Brewery Business of the Year 2025.”
Bullhouse Brewing Co. opened its permanent taphouse, which also won UK’s Best Independent Beer Bar or Pub, on the Newtownards Road in 2022 after three years of planning.
With 20 taps, Bullhouse East be showcasing the best of local and international craft beer - importing beers themselves through contacts they have built in the beer industry since starting in 2015.
