PARADISE Beverages has announced its continued partnership with Leadership Fiji and its choice in being represented in the 2025 Leadership Fiji cohort by its brewing supervisor Jiujiuwa Uluiqalau.
This, it said, was a reflection of the organisation’s unwavering commitment to developing future industry leaders.
For Mr Uluiqalau, the opportunity is more than professional growth—it’s a chance to deepen his understanding of national governance and economic impact, the company said in a statement this week.
“I’m eager to engage with key decision-makers from various government ministries, gaining insights into how policies shape our economy,” he said.
“As a brewer, I want to explore the role our industry plays in national development and identify ways we can drive greater contributions.”
Leadership Fiji is widely recognised for shaping visionary leaders who drive meaningful change. Through immersive learning experiences and direct engagement with policymakers and industry experts, the programme empowers participants to broaden their perspectives and develop innovative solutions for the nation’s future.
Paradise Beverages general manager Mike Spencer reaffirmed the company’s commitment to investing in leadership.
“Strong leadership is the backbone of any successful business and a thriving economy.
“By supporting Leadership Fiji, we’re not only developing individuals within our organisation, we are also strengthening the broader Fijian leadership pipeline.”
Leadership Fiji chief executive officer Sharyne Fong acknowledged Paradise Beverages’ ongoing support.
“Paradise Beverages has been an invaluable partner in our mission to cultivate leaders who will shape Fiji’s future,” she said.
“As we expand towards establishing a Leadership Centre for Fiji and the Pacific, partnerships like this are instrumental in driving our long-term vision.”
To the company, the long-standing collaboration with Leadership Fiji has yielded what it described was “remarkable success”, with past participants leveraging their learnings to inspire change within the company and beyond.
“This continued investment underscores Paradise Beverages’ belief in leadership as the catalyst for sustainable business and economic growth,” it stated.
