The UK pub chain has announced a special deal for those celebrating St Patrick's Day today, offering punters a pint of Guinness for just £3.15.
Wetherspoons will offer reduced price pints of Guinness in 670 of its pubs across the UK to celebrate St Patrick's Day. The pub chain will offer punters pints of Guinness for just £3.15 today for those celebrating the Irish holiday. Guinness fans will save a handsome 12.5% on their pint of stout as the price falls from £3.60 to £3.15. St Patrick's Day takes place every year on March 17 and people from across the globe celebrate with Irish music, dance, and oftentimes, Guinness.
The Irish drink has seen a huge rise in popularity in the UK over the last few years and fans of the stout are often unable to find a pint of it for under £5. However, those who are close to a Wetherspoons pub will get their hands on a pint of the creamy drink for a significantly low price for today only. Additionally, some of Wetherspoons' Scottish pubs will offer pints of Guinness for as little as £2.99.
This year, St Patric's Day aligns with Wetherspoons' promotional Monday Club, so there are a number of other drink deals on offer to customers for March 17. As well as cheaper pints of Guinness, customers can get two baby Guinness (a shot made up of coffee liquer and Irish cream liquer to resemble a small pint of Guinness) for just £8.
Additionally, customers can get a pint of Worthington’s for £1.49, a pint of Carling for £2.49 and a range of spirits such as Gordon's Pink Gin for £1.99 with a mixer.
