Prince William lifts lid on friendship with David Beckham in rare interview
Prince William has been close friends with David Beckham for a number of years.
Prince William has spoken of his long-time friendship with David Beckham in a rare interview. As well as being friends with the royal, David has joined William and King Charles on various high-profile visits across recent months. The former football star, 49, was recently appointed an ambassador for the King's Foundation and attended a special dinner at the King's home in Highgrove last month.
In a candid interview, William, 42, was involved in a fun game of a spin-off of the viral 'Football Legends - Head 2 Head' game, where he was given some tough questions and decisions to answer. When asked by The Sun who he would choose in a shoot-out between Zinedine and Beckham, Wills grimaced - before joking that David may "kill him" if he didn't say his name in response to the question. He said: "This gonna hurt. Becks, I think - just... I think Becks might kill me if I don't say him."
