US President Donald Trump will host NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte for a meeting in Washington on Thursday.

The meeting comes after he urged Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskyy to “find a way” to repair his relationship with Trump after their heated exchange at the White House.

Vaishnaw, Jaishankar to brief foreign envoys on WAVES summit

Information & Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will meet ambassadors and heads of missions in India on Thursday to apprise them of the first World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) scheduled to take place in Mumbai in May.

The government is pitching WAVES as a global gathering of leaders from the media and entertainment sector, an event that could be compared with the annual World Economic Forum meeting in Davos.

Piyush Goyal’s talk with industry and export council over US tariffs

Days after holding talks with his US counterpart in Washington, Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has called a meeting with the export councils and trade representatives starting Thursday.

The meeting will discuss the impact of US tariffs on Indian exports and the widening of the trade deficit observed for the month of January.

No Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha sittings

The Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha will not have their sitting on March 13, the eve of Holi, following a decision taken by the business advisory committees of both Houses on the matter.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres’s visit to Bangladesh

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres will be visiting Dhaka from March 13 to 16 on the invitation of the Chief Adviser of Bangladesh Muhammad Yunus.

The invitation was reportedly handed over by Khalilur Rahman, High Representative of the Chief Adviser on the Rohingya Issue and Priority Matters, during his meeting with the Secretary-General on February 7 in New York.
