NORWAY — The Norway Center Church welcomes guest minister Pastor Tom Beckstrom on Sunday, August 14 at 10 a.m.

Tom is a retired pastor in the Evangelical Covenant Church. He grew up in Upstate New York on the shores of Chautauqua Lake. He graduated from S.U.N.Y. Fredonia as an English Literature major, with an Art minor. Feeling called to full-time ministry, he received his Master of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary in Chicago, where he met and married his wife, Barbara. Together they are a team to serve where called. They served churches in Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan. After 45 years of ministry together, Pastor Tom retired. The Beckstroms then moved to Vero Beach, Florida, where they currently live. They have two married sons and five grandchildren, who bring them much joy! Their hobbies and interests have included antiques, gardening, and entertaining in their home. This is their first trip to Maine, and they are really looking forward to their visit in August.

All denominations are welcome! Coffee and refreshments will be served after the church service.
