Seven people are accused of scheming to steal thousands of dollars worth of jewelry from UPS in Louisville.On Tuesday, those suspects were all arraigned on charges of engaging in an organized criminal syndicate, according to court records.The seven individuals were identified as Adianez Herrera, Esther Gonzales, Yanelis Castro, Leonel Ruiz Pavo, Jose Lavin Torres, Aleman Napoles, and Alisbex Galvon HerreraAn arrest report claims the seven individuals worked together to smuggle jewelry out of the UPS facility on National Turnpike and hide the evidence by disposing of the empty jewelry boxes.Louisville Metro police said the thefts were all caught on surveillance video. Investigators estimate the value of the stolen products worth at least $12,000.All seven individuals are due back in court later this month.
