Following the success of the Government’s Eat Out to Help Out initiative, Purple Lounge, in Walkden, will be participating in Cobra Beer’s extension scheme throughout September.

Partnering with a number of restaurants across the country, Cobra’s Eat Out to Help Out scheme offers a 30 per cent discount on food when dining in*, as well as a buy one get one free offer on Cobra products available in the restaurant**, from Monday to Wednesday.

The restaurant has been overwhelmed with the positive support it has received from the community and hopes this latest offering will show its thanks to the local community.

Purple Lounge has several measures in place to ensure the safety of both customers and staff, including having hand sanitiser readily available, regular temperature checks for staff, temperature checks for guests upon entrance, and staff being required to frequently wash their hands.

Additionally, the restaurant is allowing a limited number of customers in at any one time, dining tables are socially distanced, floors are marked for social distancing, tables and menus are disinfected between guests - as well as there being digital menus available.

Mo Miah, manager of Purple Lounge, commented: “Eat Out to Help Out was a great success for us, and I want to thank everyone who supported us in this unprecedented time. I was delighted to see people going out to eat and enjoying themselves in a controlled environment. Unfortunately, we were not able to accommodate everyone, due to the limited capacity.

“However, I'm very happy with the new offer we have throughout September in association with Cobra and hope that those that were not able to get a table in August get a chance this time.”
