For the first time, Paradise Beverages (Fiji) would be a presenting partner at the 2018 Fiji Sports Hall of Fame and Fiji Olympic Order Dinner at the Grand Pacific Hotel on October 13.

Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee chief executive officer Lorraine Mar said Paradise Beverages (Fiji) has always been one of the biggest supporters in the past and they were grateful to the company for the continued support.

“Paradise Beverages (Fiji) have been a supporter in the past but this is the first time they have come on board as a presenting partner,” Mar said.

“FASCNOC is looking forward to announcing the outcome of the judging panel which consists of FASNOC & Basketball Fiji vice –president Glynis Miller, former regional media development specialist at ONOC Matai Akaoula and president of Fiji Sports Journalist Association, Maikeli Seru.”

Paradise Beverages marketing manager, Joe Rodan  Senior said they believe it is a major event in the sporting calendar in Fiji and they are happy to partner with FASNOC.

As the 2003 Hall of Fame inductee, Rodan said getting into the Hall of Fame is in line with developing sports in Fiji and recognizing on athletes that have performed well in the past.

“To be in the Hall of Fame you will have to contribute a lot to sports. Being involved in sports has changed my life and taught me to go the hard yards.”
