Former Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio will be the keynote speaker at an annual fundraising dinner in Douglas County, on Sunday, Feb. 18.

The Douglas County Central Committee is hosting the Lincoln Reagan Dinner and Fundraiser at the Carson Valley Inn on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Joe Arpaio was sheriff of Maricopa County, which includes Phoenix, Arizona from January 1993 to 2017.

The 85-year-old Arpaio is a Republican who is closely allied with President Trump. Arpaio announced on January 9, 2018 that he plans to run for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Jeff Flake.

Arpaio was spared a possible jail sentence last year when Trump pardoned his conviction for disobeying a judge's order in an immigration case.

Tickets for the dinner are $75 each and can be purchased by clicking here. After February 4, ticket prices will raise to $95 each.

Arpaio has agreed to a VIP Reception starting at 5 p.m. To learn more about the annual Lincoln Reagan Dinner and Fundraiser, click here.
