Exhibition Made in Uzbekistan will be held in Bishkek

Tashkent, Jan. 22, 2018 / Kabar /. An exhibition of Uzbek manufactured goods Made in Uzbekistan will be held in Bishkek, from 5 to 7 March, the Uzexpocenter National Exhibition Center reported.

The main goal of the event is to promote further development and improvement of cooperation, to create favorable conditions for business partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.

The exhibition is expected to involve firms and companies in the electrical, light and silk industries, leather goods, chemistry, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, construction materials, wine industry, food industry, metallurgy, mining, tourism, as well as masters of folk and applied art.

Based on official data, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan in Jan-Sept. 2017 amounted to 231.1 mln dollars. This indicator indicates a 60 percent increase compared to the same period in 2016.

Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan intend to increase mutual trade by more than $ 500 mln a year.
