The CIS is the main one. This week, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said that Kyrgyzstan is the main foreign trade partner of Uzbekistan among the CIS countries. Among the main trade partners of Uzbekistan are also Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Tajikistan, which make 28.6% of foreign trade turnover.
Foreign trade operations of residents of Uzbekistan are mainly carried out with Asian countries (45.7% of total turnover), Europe (44.2%) and USA (2.6%), which make 92.5% of total volume of trade.
The foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan in January-September 2017 amounted to almost $ 20 billion US.
Nine companies. Nine companies from Kyrgyzstan were presented at the exhibition of food and beverages "InterFood Siberia2017" in Russia. According to data of the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, from November 8 to 10 these companies presented their products at this exhibition. Among the participants from Kyrgyzstan were: Ak Zhalga JSC , Golden Ore LLC, Farmers Organic Garden LLC, Agroelita, Kidik LLC, At-Bashi Sut LLC, Zhanar and Beck LLC, LLC ProdImpeX, Erfrut.
Participation in the exhibition was organized by the State Agency for Promotion of Investment and Export of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the UNDP’s Trade Facilitation project financed by the Government of Finland. In addition to exhibiting products, the companies took part in meetings with federal trade networks (Magnit, Lenta, Ashan, etc.) and Siberian trading networks (Holiday, Bystronom, Sibirsky Gigant and others. ).
Representatives of Russian partners expressed greatest interest in dairy products: Dutch cheese, chechil cheese (pigtail).
Strengthening ties. The signing of export-import agreements, as well as the agreement on the establishment of a joint venture for the production of travertine between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan was held in Tashkent with the participation of Director of the State Agency for Promotion of Investments and Export under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Alymbek Orozbekov, within the framework of Kyrgyz Prime Minister Sapar Isakov’s official visit.
The Uzbek side represented by Artel LLC organized a visit to the plant for the production of household appliances. The Kyrgyz side was offered cooperation in supplying household appliances. Then, negotiations were held with the representatives of the company "Trest 12", which is interested in buying travertine and white marble.
As a result of the visit, 2 agreements, 4 export-import contracts were signed, as well as 1 agreement on the creation of a joint venture for the production of travertine.
Fuel is enough. The reserves of fuel and lubricants in Kyrgyzstan will be enough to cover the needs for the coming months, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use of the Kyrgyz Republic said.
The statement was made in response to the words of deputy of the Parliament Iskhak Pirmatov, that the fuel in Kyrgyzstan will last only two weeks. He said that "from October 12-13, no car can enter or leave Kyrgyzstan. We have fuel reserves for a week or two. If we import with the duty, then gasoline will rise in price. Association of oil traders and the government do not give information. Everyone pretends that nothing happens. "
According to data of the State Committee on Energy, as of November 9, 2017, the volume of petroleum products is 43 thousand 412 tons. Gasoline 24 thousand 709 tons, diesel fuel 18 thousand 703 tons. In addition, there is fuel declared by the companies-suppliers.
In addition, the refinery Junda has large reserves of raw materials for petroleum products, gasoline and diesel fuel, as well as semi-finished products.
At the moment, the State Committee for Industry, Energy and Subsoil Use holds negotiations with the Ministry of Energy of Russia on the uninterrupted supply of fuel to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the same time, it should be noted that the available fuel volumes are sufficient to cover the needs of Kyrgyzstan in the coming months, the State Committee considers.
Slowed down, but growing. GDP volume in Kyrgyzstan in January-October 2017, according to preliminary estimates, amounted to over 382.6 billion soms and increased by 3.9% compared to the same period of last year, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic announced this week. The growth of GDP was provided by increasing the volume of industry, construction, agriculture, as well as the development of services.
The largest share in the structure of GDP came to the service industry, which accounted for 48% of the total volume of this macroeconomic indicator. The share of industry was over 18%, agriculture - about 16%, construction - 7%.
Without taking into account the enterprises for the development of the Kumtor field, the volume of GDP in January-October of this year made about 346.2 billion soms and increased by 3.5%.
Prices slightly increased. In Kyrgyzstan, consumer prices and tariffs rose by 0.7% in October. According to data of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, the prices for non-food products increased by 1.4%, food and non-alcoholic beverages - 0.6%. At the same time, a significant increase in prices was observed for potatoes - 6.5%, for fresh fruits - 4%, for eggs - 2.9%, for beef - 2.6%, milk and dairy products - 1.8%. Of non-food products, the increase in prices affected coal by 9.3%, liquefied gas - by 3.6% and cement - by 3.4%.
Trade with the EEU. The volume of mutual trade of Kyrgyzstan with the countries-participants of the Eurasian Economic Union for the past 9 months of 2017 amounted to $ 1 billion 708.3 million and compared to the figures for the same period of the last year increased by 11.6%. According to data of the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic, these figures indicate the growth of exports of goods from Kyrgyzstan to the market of the EEU by 32.2%, and the volume of imports from the member countries of the Union grew by 5.8%.
In the export of goods to the market of the EEU, the largest share is occupied by ores and concentrates of precious metals, accounting for 18.8% of the total. Further, clothes - 17.6%, footwear - 10.8%, dairy products - 6.7%, dried fruits - 4.7%, parts and accessories for cars and tractors - 4%, and polished glass - 3, 5%.
The largest share of Kyrgyzstan's mutual trade among EEU countries is Russia, and the volume of this indicator is 57.7%.
